hallo an alle , mein spiel startet nicht ! leuchtet zwar güun, aber startet nicht. Brauch ich da noch was dazu ?

Hi, In 2024 there are a couple of steps required to getting Blitzkrieg Anthology and Blitzkrieg 2 Anthology running on Windows 10 and perhaps above.

Under "Manage" for your game go into "local files" and find the file game.exe in the bin directory. Enable it for "Windows 7 compatibility" and "Run as Administrator". That used to be all you needed under previous Windows but now you also need to go to Microsoft.com and look for the "2013 Visual C Redistribution files" vcredistx86 and vcredistx64. I installed both so not sure if just one would work or not. I just had to do it and both my Anthology 1 and Anthology 2 work perfectly.

Sorry my German skills are nicht gut but I hope this helps as these are my favorite games and so worth playing.

Enabling it for "Windows 7 compatibility" and running it as Administrator worked for Anthology 1.

It is one of my favorite games and now i can play it again.
