Using mapeditor 1.4 would allow you to see the new airplanes in the editor options. This would not be necessary if the mod was loaded from your Run/data folder instead of the from the Run/Mods folder. However, since we are using a different gamett.dll library to get the wheels and propellers spin, the Mod shall be installed in Run/Mods (otherwise the game would crash) and the mapeditor 1.4 can't be used. Therefore, I am afraid the "easy" way to select the airplanes in the editor is to create a mock modobjects.xml file in which you copy the airplanes entries only and put that modobjects.xml file into a .pak which is in turn placed in the Run/data folder.

Kevin
