Unplayable (No background)

For some reason I don't seem to have any sort of background at all even for the beginning scene of the game. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2609911570

That's very strange. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it?

Yeah I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesn't seem to change from the black screen, it seems to just be the background because the NPCs are fine

This is the first time anyone has shown this issue so I don't have an immediate solution but I will look into this and see what I can do. I apologize for the issue.

Could you do me a favor and check to make sure the files exist? They likely do but it's a first step.

You should have a file here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Boot Hill Heroes\Content\Tilesets\BHH\SwellsvilleShowdown.xnb

I just redownloaded it and I do have that file
