Demo triggered my antivirus software as malware?

Before I could play this demo, my virus protection software triggered it was malware.
What's going on here?
Obviously I will not be opening the exe now..

I am aware of this problem but I cannot resolve it for the moment, can you tell me which antivirus you are using?

I use AVG as my anti-virus of choice and it has a pop-up preventing the .exe being installed stating "We have moved DemonQuestDemo.exe to your Quarantine because it was infected with "Win32:Malware-gen"
Which isn't a quarantine warning I have seen before. When I tried to restore it from quarantine Steam now says that it has a disk read error, and even uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't work. Hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck with development!
