How to speed up time?

Hitting "8" will speed up time while "7" will slow it back down. These would be the numbers across the top of your keyboard, not the keypad numbers.

You only speed up the passage time, not the speed at which you harvest, seed etc.

Why does the money go down so fast as well? My vehicles aren't running..

All vehicles have daily upkeep costs.

Ugh. My field is terrible, I have a whole corn field and I cannot afford a corn attachment. I had no idea it needed a different one when I planted it. What am I suppose to do? I don't want to lose all my money just replanting it with wheat, as my wheat farm is growing slowly.

Take out a bank loan to buy the new header for your combine. You start off with 100k loan, but you can borrow up to 200k. Just look for the money icon on the map. That's a bank machine. Borrow or pay off the loan there. The payments aren't that bad if you borrow the money.

Hitting "insert" will also bring up the bank screen.

What? I can only borrow up to 5,000 or something like that, it says -$95,625 (WHAT?) So, even if I do so, I cannot afford the header.

Sell one of your tractors or other equipment.

Make sure you are buying the right header for your harvester. Each harvester only has one grain and one corn header. Match them up carefully.

Ugghh... its so stressful.... WHY DID I HAVE TO MAKE A WHOLE FIELD CORN WHEN IT NEEDED A SPECIALIZED ATTACHMENT?!

I did the same thing in my first game but I got off lucky ... it was on "easy" so I was able to borrow enough for the extra header and even an upgraded harvester with two heads fairly early.

I'm on normal ): should I replace all the corn with wheat or just try to SOMEHOW afford a header, while it will cost alot to replace the whole field, but what if its on slow, and I replant the whole field, since the time effects the runtime of your vehicles, rather then when you plant em I think.

That's about all you can do. Or take the loss and replant the field. Bummer.

Ugh... I have like a bit more then 4,000 right now. Uuugh... if only I haven't made this mistake while I had barely any money...

Do you have a mower or front loader you can do some missions with? You can pick up some cash that way.
