There is no place to store loose straw, either keep it in the forage wagon until needed or dump it in the cow pen, it will only allow you to supply 6 days worth at a time.
If you want to store it you will need to make it into bales, then you would need a baler and the machine to cut the bale when needed for bedding.
ok, so i cant take the hay thats in my wagon and make it into bales. is that correct?
i do have the baler and the machine that cuts bales with a stock pile of bales. i like that route better that the wagon, still figureing all this out.
ok whats the name of the mod for the barn to store loose straw?
and about the silage what exaclty is it? and how is it created? whats its use?
Correct once it is in the wagon you cannot dump it to bale it. You have to bale it from the start.
You need to mix silage with straw and hay to feed to your cows to get to 100% mil production. Silage is made by cutting grass, chaffing crops such as corn and dumping it in the silage bunkers. There is one right by the cow shed and 4 large ones at the bigas plant.
Once you have grass/chaff in the bunker you run it over until it is 100% compressed then you cover it with the blanket so it can ferment into silage.

It range from mission to milk to selling straw/grass . It can also come from seeling vehicule and placable object, so basically everything that is not agriculture related.
