Delivering manure to the greenhouses
Anyone found a better way to deliver manure to greenhouses. Would be nice if an auger wagon with a tube could be used. I have tried all the trailers, but the height doesnt trigger a dump. Any ideas or suggestion?

I have my green houses placed away from the cow yard which forces me to use trailers to transport the manure. This is where an alt tip mod would be awesome to be able to pile near the green houses. Anyways what I do but is a little teadious is have my front end loader drive up to the back of the trailer, jump into the tractor with the trailer then dump it into the bucket of the front end loader. the trailer will only dump what the bucket will hold so you dont have to worry about losing manure.. other then that I would like to hear any other solutions ppl ma have.. hope this helps out some what anyways

I ended up putting my greenhouses next to the cattle yard, saved trips. Using the wagon is an idea though, had not thought of that.

I use this trailer coz it works great with manure and just about anything else you need to haul.

I don't use a front loader due to finding a portable conveyor that works great with my manure pile. You can move it where ever you need it for other uses also. I got it at http://www.ls15mods.com/conveyor-belt-pack-v-3-2-6/ Does manure, silage, potato, sugarbeet, grass_windrow, wheat_windrow, barley_windrow, forage, barley, wheat, rape, maize and chaff.

In 2013 you were able to use a frontloader to pull manure out from a manure spreader, I'm assuming that is still possible in 2015.

i cannot get that trailer to work on normal ground or using a ramp.

a frontloader just isnt efficient enough

and im refering to putting manure in the boxes, not actually moving the pile altogether, again, would be nice if you could drive along and unload with an auger wagon or larger trailer that holds more manure.

Here's a manure trailer... a mod of the small Brantner grain tipper:
http://lsmod2015.com/brantnere8041-manure-edition-v-3-0/
Mods made the game SSSOOO much more fun. I've found myself deeper into gameplay and willing to tackle all farming tasks throughout the day -- chickens, sheep, cows, farming, and logging with any time left over. I'm pulling a 15m wide all-seed-type sower with my Case-IH 550 QuadTrac, the biggest tipper with a Peterbilt 378, and the GPS mod v.4.1 has made farming more technical and fun for me. Playing with the GPS settings and using auto-steer is so useful!
But yeah, I built my greenhouses near my cow pasture, so I don't transport manure.

Yes i posted something about the same thing recently !
Build my greenhouses far from the cows and needed a way to get some manure closer.

Get the Brantner Manure Edition 3.0 or 2.0 mod and you should be fine like me now :)
I currently have the 2.0 version installed and how it work is simple, you can drop manure in it using a front loader and to get some out, you put the bucket of a front loader on the side of it, just a little lower and you will be able to dump some manure in the bucket. Will stop to unload when full. (i was unable to dump directly at the greenhouses).

Now i am happy because of that mod :blacksheep:

Ok, the whole purpose of the topic was to discuss a method for putting manure into the greenhouse other than the backhoe. Some of you just copy and pasted crap from another thread. While I see pics of the Brantner Trailer seems to dump manure into the grrenhouses, it does not work for me no matter how i approach the green house. That is why i feel it would be nice if it would be possible to convert a Horsch auger wagon that could carry manure and then dispense directly into the greehouse using the auger pipe. I am not a modder. I have tried every trailer to date and am looking for something that is as efficient as delivering water to the greenhouses.

This doesnt work for me, no matter how i position the trailer. I even used ramps and it wont work. The manure bucket on the greenhouse must have a very limited empty box.

Well i just have try to help you and i have explained you one way that work fine to not have to drive back to the cow all the times.

Good luck finding some other mods, i saw none. Cause everyone who need that use the brantner manure edition, looks like. And i like it cause it work.

Yeah, the issue is not getting manure to the greenhouses or even the availability of manure. Its the actual dispensing of the manure in an efficent manner without having to go back and forth a millison times with a frontloader. Would be nice to line them up and drive by them while dispensing manure 1 by 1
