Nope, but you can apparently hire them to mow grass if the field has clear edges. Haven't tried that one myself though.

So, sow grass seeds on a field, removing the field, then get a krone with a trailer and grass header so you can hire a worker to mow grass? Leaning toward just growing corn for chaff!

The follow me mod is good for hay bailing. You set up the bailer behind the harvester ready to bail. Hit follow me and it then follows the combine like a loyal puppy bailing as it goes. You could even chain the bail collector behind the bailer. But this only really works with th wider combines.

Also good for hay makinh as you can have a convoy of tedder, windrower and bailer follow you as you mow.

Edit: Corn for chaff is absolutly the most effcient chaff method. Should never grow corn for anything other than chaff for feed and biogas IMO.

Hi, did you find a solution?
I have! It's a great one. If you need it, just let me know!

what was your way to do it?

one of the first things I did when I got courseplay working (still learning a bunch, but got enough for this and harvesting figured out, mostly) was to set up a route where I just get the mowing tractor rigged and running, then it auto-pilot mows around a big chunk. I usually run it, then let the grass regrow, run it again, maybe one more time after that, then I run the SAME route with a tedder, then again with the Windrower.

now, I have to manually follow the track with the round baler, and then make a couple trips with the bale-gatherer, but at the moment my cow area has like 30+ hay bales to make TMR with, and I've only done that routine on this save a couple of times.

I have a different route for another area that I just do a mowing or two, then a windrowing, and then run it with a gather-trailer to get a load of grass for the sheep.
