I still use the Stepa as I am a small time outfit and logging is a small part of my farm operation. Small time meaning I don't own the big logging equipment yet and not sure I will. The Stepa works quite well for gathering up logs but it is manual since I am using the chainsaw to do all my cutting. When selling at the train I usually bounce my boom on top of the logpile or even use the grapple claw to pull them out, it usually doesn't take too long. It is not as slick as your method but for this small time logger it works fine. I appreciate the demonstration and will keep it mind for when my logging operation gets larger in scale.
The grain container is 42,000 with a capacity of 45,000.
Before i was using the biggest tipper trailer the big krampe, they are slightly bigger at 59,000 capacity but cost more than twice as much, and the upkeap is four times as much.
Currently just stick containers all over the place around fields, you can place two for the same price as one krampe and get much higher capacity, then i have an auger trailer on a tractor for each combine and empty into them.
Might do a video on how i do it using ITrunner, not sure if its the "best" way to do it or not, but so far my prefered way :)
