Cheers :) thought I would do it as this seems to be an issue for many people.

I used the buffalo but i have seen so many strangs things happening with this and also your metode is way more faster and safe. Only thing is buffalo can take more than one log at a time, however, considering you have to load it off says itself. Think i stick to your way:)

You could always load the trailer with the buffalo if you prefer it :)

I've been using the smaller tractor pulled hauler with the boom on it. I just back the trailer full of logs into the pond and drive off. Since I can't yet afford the big logging machines and can't always manuver the telehandler or front loader around in the woods.

You are missing out on the bonus which nearly doubles your proffit by not selling them on the train that way.

I can see where using the IT Runner trailer would be an easier way to sell the logs at the train. I doubt that I will spend the money on that DLC at this time for what little content it has but it does provide another way to sell the logs. I may purchase it in the future.

I still use the Stepa as I am a small time outfit and logging is a small part of my farm operation. Small time meaning I don't own the big logging equipment yet and not sure I will. The Stepa works quite well for gathering up logs but it is manual since I am using the chainsaw to do all my cutting. When selling at the train I usually bounce my boom on top of the logpile or even use the grapple claw to pull them out, it usually doesn't take too long. It is not as slick as your method but for this small time logger it works fine. I appreciate the demonstration and will keep it mind for when my logging operation gets larger in scale.

Can honestly say ITrunner has changed the way I run my farm now, you can just dump containers all around your fields and fill them with tractors with auger wagons and haul everything with just one tractor back to your silo, works great.

What is the in-game cost for the hooklift, cost and capacities for the grain and forage containers?

The hooklift is 55,000, but you only need one, well i use two, one for logging and one for hauling containers, currently own nearly every field on bjornholm and its enough.

The grain container is 42,000 with a capacity of 45,000.

Before i was using the biggest tipper trailer the big krampe, they are slightly bigger at 59,000 capacity but cost more than twice as much, and the upkeap is four times as much.

Currently just stick containers all over the place around fields, you can place two for the same price as one krampe and get much higher capacity, then i have an auger trailer on a tractor for each combine and empty into them.

Might do a video on how i do it using ITrunner, not sure if its the "best" way to do it or not, but so far my prefered way :)

Sorry the chaff container is 45,00 with a capacity of 48,000, the chaff, grain and log trailers are the only ones I have really used so far.

Very good vidoe and clever way of working fast. However, you can make more money by loading logs directly onto the train and sending it off (about £2200 on a large pine log).

Are you sure the bonus is more? from what I have seen loading it onto the train itself or onto the box makes no difference.

I use the Scorpion and this Scania to dump logs in the box next to train... Quick and easy :)
