John Deere Mods
I have got online and tried to down load 36 different JD mods and all 36 of them SUCK. Does anyone know of any good JD mods out there? If so lets start a list to help other JD people out there.

My favorite is the John Deere 6810. SMall tractor, but has two versions, one with FL, one with front attacher. Dirt tracks, and dirty.
i to have treid many from interweb and they do all indeed suck, particuarly the modern JD's.

There are some nice looking ones, the JD 7290 and 8370 pack for instance, but theyre very buggy
go to fs15.lt.com i got tons of em from there no issues at al
my bad second one is to it

This is the one I use...it might be the one JDRiot mentions above...125HP...loader or not, not a cartoon... http://www.modhoster.com/mods/john-deere-6810--7

There's a V1.3 available on another site with 250 hp...I think it's just been xml edited by someone and re-uploaded

the 6810 along with the 7810 are two brill tractors. Both can be downloaded for www.modhoster.com Mod hoster is one of the better sites, also www.FS-UK.com, fs uk has less mods but most are tested so only good ones get a gold rating.

my 'go to' page is usually FS-UK,
I also look at Marhu's site, OEB Modding, and American Eagles Modding.
Modhoster is a good site, especially if you have google translate bookmarked (I know SQUAT in German! lol).

There are a LOT of other pages - almost TOO many, as quite a few post the same mods, time after time. If you're a modder, and you've requested your mod to NOT be posted except to certain sites - you're in for a rude awakening! I've seen several mods that the modder says "this must NOT be posted anywhere EXCEPT (insert page here)" scattered across the web...

Getting mods is a bit like shooting craps (and yes, I MEANT that comparison)...
some days, and downloads WILL be better than others.
And, as a point of reference, my FS15 mods folder is (currently) at 150 files (and likely to grow).
and my 2013 folder (yes I STILL play that one) has over ***380*** files... so when I say that some mods are better than others - you can imagine how much dung I dug through to find the gems! you'll be making an investment, of research time at the VERY least, to find the BEST mods to do what you WANT to do in the game - the rest go to 'file-13' and are never seen again.

ok, it's late, and I'm rambling (apologies!)...

Oh, one last thing...
"They all Blow/suck/scream/etc/etc"
could we be a bit MORE specific?
what makes them blow, etc..
THAT could help us point you in the right direction...
I have a few JD mods, and I'm quite happy with them, but YOUR standards may/will vary from mine. in order to avoid showing you a mod the blows - WHAT do you see in a mod that makes it blow??
