Difference between plowing and Cultivating

I am totally new to this game/series. I was reading the descriptions between the Cultivator and the plow, and they seem to do the same thing?

Then I was watching some Youtube videos and noticed some people plow their fields then cultivate it after. Or they cultivate it all the time, and plow it first every 2nd or 3rd crop they put through. Is that for role playing purposes? Or is there a difference between the 2?

plow when you change seed, cultivate if u sow the same as last time,

new seed = plow then cultivate
same seed = only cultivate

Afaik plowing and cultivating does same thing - preparing field for next sowing. Also you don't need to plow before changing crops.

To sum it up - Plows are used when you want:
- to join fields
- make new fields or increase existing ones
- if you sowed grass on field and want to cultivate it for crop

You don't have to plow when changing seeds... cultivate is enough.

Plowing is for removing grass, or creating new field area.

The difference is the wasted time.

And there is one sower you can buy that both cultivates and sows seeds at the same time, so it saves a step if you buy that one.

Not in the game anyway, I guess in RL it's a different story.
