Turning off traffic
I remember from the 2013 verison that you could turn off the traffic by editing the gamesettings xml file. I tried this with 2015 and still have traffic on my map. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion. But, I like playing on ultra-high. It looks great and I have had no problems with game play. I have bought a few cheap tippers and am using them to set up roadblocks around the field I am working to keep traffic out of my way while working. Not the best answer but it works.

Why would you be working any where near traffic ?

Traffic drives on the roads right next to most fields.

Yep. Tractors get up onto the road at the ends of fields and jam up with oncoming traffic - just like they did in 2013.

Came here also to find the swich to get rid of them.

As other said - American map. Probably less of an issue on Bjornholm.
My machines frequently get into trouble with traffic on Westbridge Hills.

Fair enough, not even being on that map yet, must go take a look

Yes, you are right. I am playing Westbridge. I Put 50-60 hours in on the Bjornholm map and decided I didn't like it. Too many small fields that you have to work with small equiptment that takes forever to build bank. And, not many that could be easily connected to build larger fields.
In the US we would not call fields that small farming. Maybe a hobby farm , if I wanted to be polite. But here working on a scale that small is called gardening not farming. I like working big fields with hugh machines. To me that is more like real life. Just my humble opinion.

both maps have roads too close to the fields. and when ai is seeding with the big seeders there is the inevitable collision. For a sim I would have expected -1- ditches 2- fencing and 3- no 40degree slopes.

I always park the plow or windrower on each side of the road... they just pile up and when you get far enough away it just keeps reseting... sure beats having your hired hands getting all messed up

Good idea but if we could just find out how to turn the traffic off - which we could before then this wouldn't be needed. :)
