Header trailers - How do I use them?!
I'd love to use these, as I want to be as realistic as possible when I drive to other fields... but I cannot figure out how the header trailers work. No amount of googling will turn up a solution.

I've got an axial flow 7130 with the 3020 header. Neither header trailer seems to "connect" with it. Am I doing something wrong?

You basically unattach the header over the trailer so it sits on it, then hook the trailer to a tractor or truck so you can drive it down roads and narrow places etc.

Is the header supposed to attach to the trailers somehow? Because the header will sit loose on the trailer, and the trailer will move around oddly and get all wonky when I get close to it

The trailers are "handed", That is they have a side that the header sits on. If you look at the trailer one side will be higher than the other. Try loading from the low side.

I come from the low side, but the header will not "snap" to the trailer. I've tried all manner of different angles, lowering the header first, etc...

There doesn't seem to be an answer out there. Has anyone used these successfully?

Anyone have a video of them being used in '15?
The one header for the larger New Holland had wheels that fold down so you can attach it as a trailer to the rear of the harvester, i use that one lol...

I can't afford that one just yet :P
Drop some trees to get some cash to buy it. There are a bunch of em around the lumberyard that you can cut and push into the pond with the harvester you have or another tractor and get the cash easily to buy it, the oak trees are a ♥♥♥♥♥ to move but payout the best but you can drop and sell those smaller ones around the pond easily to get that

I see this was posted a while ago so you may well have found a solution but if you haven't then I suggest you use this mod http://mods2015.com/combines-headers-pack-v1-3/
The mod is a load of header trailers that work when you drop the header on them, they sit in position and don't slide around when you start moving.

the headre doesnt snap to the trailer. but it doesnt seem to slide off either. I drove around doing 50 and even with the trailer whipping around, the header didnt move

The headers don't "snap" onto the trailer.
As Oneblock said, you need to approuch from the low side, then lower your head in the centre, detach your head and reverse.
And then don't go racing around at 50 mph !

I have discovered that the TAM Leguan header trailers are magnetic. You do not have to fasten them in, just approach from the lower side of the trailer and drop the header on it as evenly as possible. The header will ride on the trailer until it is removed with the harvester. I discovered this completely by accident when I drove past an unattached header with the trailer and the header attached itself to the trailer.
