American Map - Selling Whole Logs

Ok, sorry if this is a stupid question - but where is the pond I read about on other forums where you dump your whole logs to sell, on the American map (whatever it is called)? The overhead map is not very descriptive, other than the places to sell your grain at (train station, diner, etc.).

I think you sell logs to the sawmill in lower left of map.

That River is on Map 1. The USA map is a pain to unload your logs at the moment

so do I sell my logs over the pit at the sawmill? I have read that you dump them in the pond on the european map...is that correct? Or does it matter?

Just drag them over the box/pit area at the saw mill on the american map. Its amazingly easy as theres nothing to get caught on so just slide them in. The lake works well on the other map.

On the Scandinavian map, you can use the pond, but if you drive just a bit further to the train, you can unload there (either in the yellow box of by getting close to the log cars). You get paid a second time when you pull the lever and send the train off. Not sure why, but you do :)
