Any way to sell silage via trailer?

I had started the process of making silage for my cows, gathered up 100k grass and it was fermenting well at the silage pen by the cow field. Suddenly a message says silage is in demand and I thought I would cash in on this. Once the silage was ready I fed some to my cows and made mixed rations. The rest though I loaded up on trailers and took it to sell. When I get there, there is no place to sell other than shutes that must be acessed via fork lift. So my trailers are now filled with silage I can only use a few bits at a time for the cows. Is there a way to either sell the silage in the trailer or dump it out?

You have to bale it, or you can sell it by the scoop. There is no trailer. Best way to sill silage is to get hay into bales, wrap it so it turns into sileage and they sell for about 5k per bale.

There is no way to put the extra silage in the lanes into any sort of bale sadly.

why not empty the silage trailer at the biogas for cash? it is a great income option

The OP said he tried that, and there was no luck. Try the dumping area by the cows and see if you can pour the sileage there.

I put the silage into a normal trailer (which says it can take silage) but cant empty it. There is no place at the biogas to unload a normal trailer. I cant convert it to bails as its in the trailer

Says silage not accepted here. Which is odd cause I made the silage there.

You can dump the trailer at the biogas facility. But to do so you need there to already be some silage in one of the silo's sadly. I have just experienced the same thing.

you can dump a bucket full from a frontloader, telehandler or wheel loader into one of the "silos" at the biogas plant. after that you can dump your trailers in the same one. this worked for me when I made the mistake of loading silage onto a tipper.

The alternative would be to get one of the conveyor mods and then you will be able to dump your trailer into the conveyor which will then dump into the biogas bins.

you cannot bale silage ... all you can do is bale dried grass and wrap it to make silage (needs to be the round bales not square ones).

That's impossible, there's not tip trigger at the BGA grinders, so you can't empty a trailer there.

The only option I can think of is perhaps the conveyor belt mod. Maybe you can tip onto the bottom of the conveyor and have it drop the silage off into the grinders. I haven't tried it, but it should work.

I can confirm the conveyor belt mode works, you can't dump it all at once because it fills up, but it works great

Lowered the BGA Grinders so they were just above the ground, Placed 1 of these flat across the top of them, then 2 more each end on a slope so you can drive up and over. Works great can tip a full trailer load of silage in 1 go.

Feed it to your cows the food Containers will let you empty the trailer but sadly no way to sell except from a frontloader.

I have to agree the conveyors are your best option they can be used to both load the trailer then moved and used to unload into the bga grinders. i use the Marahu (spelling) conveyors available on most mod sites.
