does cleaning has a purpose?
does cleaning your vehicles has a purpose like if the car is clean it works better or is it only cosmetic, if so i find the 4,000+ € to pay for the cleaner a waste of money...

i dont notice no difference at all but the dirty tractors in my opinion look cool but i like cleaning tractors and stuff because its just something to do inbetween stuff

it is strangly satisfying to clean the tractors and tools. It bugs me that you cannot clean the counter weights but they get clean when it rains.

yeah the dirt is great and so is cleaning it up. Good call.
buzztham Nov 2, 2014 @ 4:46pm
i can clean the weights
Space Jelly Nov 2, 2014 @ 4:56pm
You have to get in front and spray right on the middle of the weights to hit them right.
Randox Nov 2, 2014 @ 5:11pm
Of course it does. The purpose is to make your vehicle clean :P

That's it.

Also, good to know about the weights.

well i geuss you can buy this when having some spare money just as an extra thing on your farm for the details but tbh i wish that the cleaning went a little deeper like i said in topic post, that if your cars where dirty they degrade in quality overtime and can get it damaged... or atleast a higher chance that your cars can break down. if somebody can make that in a mod <3

What works for me is to put the washer actually inside the weight. Give the outside a good blast, then walk forward so that the nozzle kinda glitches to the inside. It's the only way I've found to 100% clean them.

Or you can disconnect them from the tractor and they'll wash right up.

I love the dirt effects. Rain does wash things clean (after the first rain I was like, whoa...clean!). Haven't noticed any performance issues with dirt so I think it's just an aesthetic thing.

i just experimented witht he rain today and i love how it cleans things but i think an added effect to rain should be that vehicles get dirtyer quicker and also that you can get stuck
kazoo97 Nov 3, 2014 @ 12:42pm
also i dont like how rain still comes through the buildings and washes everything in there
