Loading a trailer with wood chips?

I've got a huge (200,000l+) pile of wood chips in the shed. How do I load them up into a trailer? I've got a front loader with a universal bucket on my tractor, but that holds less than 2,000l per bucketful. Please tell me I don't have to load up 200 bucketfulls to move my woodchips to a trailer for sale.

Hi Dizzie, first of all congratulations on getting the woodchipper working for you! You are a rare specimen haha.

I believe the Wheelloader and forklift have larger bucket attachments than the FL's. Or you can have a look for mod buckets although they may not exist yet as the game is only a couple of days old...the community will make some i guarantee you that

The wheel loader has a 6400l bucket. Till a mods comes out that bumps it back to the 10 000l like in FS2013, it will take a long time to move wood chips and biogas stuff around.

Thank you, but I've not used the woodchipper yet. It's a result of finding all the gold coins.

can't you park a trailer under the conveyor like the other resources?

There is no conveyor for wood chips, for some reason. So the wheel loader is the best option.

or get the mod which places a conveyor belt at the woodchips

if you go into the game files you can find the xml of the loader shovel and increase the capacity iv got mine set at 20k rather than 2 makes the job a whole lot easier :D

Honestly its something i dont understand.

It was already taking some time with the 10 000l bucket in FS 2013 and the improvement was to reduce it to 6400 in FS 15

when you edit the bucket size in the .xml file you should also decrease the weight it applies to whatever you pick up. if you double the size of the bucket, then half the weight to keep the machine balanced. you're already "cheating", might as well go for broke...
