Question about multiplayer.
So, me and my dad are about to buy this game to play together. The thing is, what do you do in the multiplayer? Do you play missions (quest) etc, or you get a farm, few fields and you can manage your farm etc? That would be what we are looking for. Thanks!

in multiplayer you get to do that same thing that you get to do in single player and in single player you have to manage and plant and take care of all of your fields and stuff

You can do everything that you can do in single player basically. With the added bonus of playing with family and friends. You can run separate accounts too so it gives you both some sort of fiscal autonomy. (The funds are essentially shared) You can manage different aspects of the farm in isolation or roll up in your tractor to help your dad unload his harvester.

It's brilliant for co-op play and a real nice game to kick back to when shooting people in the face gets to be too much.

So we get a farm, and then we can like harvest, plant and do whatever else we want? No missions we have to do?

It's completely open. There are side mission but they are optional. You can do practically everything you can do in single player. It's full on Co-op farming. You could be seeding, your dad could be fertilising behind you on same field or off doing his own thing and managing other aspects of the farm or a few fields of his own or whatever.

Thank you very much! Thats exactly what we wanted! One more question: How does one make a server for us? Do i need some 3rd party program, or rent a server, or we just click one button and the server is created?

You can create and host your own server through the game itself.
Or you can hire a dedicated 24/7 server.

If just you and your dad then hosting yourself when you both want to play is the best (and free) option.

be aware of the large amount of bugs in MP, Too many to list here and some tend to break the "immersion" as it were but still an extremly satisfying MP experience.

Not experienced too many bugs in multiplayer yet tbh. Think we have done about 15 hours + of multiplayer together.

We have not really experienced any significant bugs in multiplayer so far so not too sure what TheChalkBane is talking about.

i havent seen any bugs chalk just wants to make the game sound worse than it actually is and really yes the game has some bugs but it was just released the game will be fixed in a bit here and really the only issue i can see is the fact that everything drifts and i dont really care cause if your driving like a normal person and arent flooring it it wont do anything and if you want to have fun who doesnt want to drift a t9
