Thanks! :)
Thanks Warondar :)
Yep, right in there. You'll see piles of firewood around if you're in the right place.
Great! Thanks for the help, much appreciated! :)
have you tried using the STEPA trailer with the hydraulic arm? i cant get the claw to close therefore i cant pick up a log.
...im obviously missing a keyboard control or in game trigger. Anyone figured it out?
thanks
Use left mouse button for up and down with the main arm.
Use right mouse button for extending and moving the second arm.
Use both mouse buttons for closing and turning hook.
Maybe I forgot something, but you will figure it out. The symbols displaying when you do that could be wrong ;)
much appreciated!
You need to rotate the chainsaw and move around the tree till you see a blue disc, then hold the throttle till you don't see sawdust anymore.
Just put your blade on the trunk whichever way you want to cut, and the saw will cut at any angle or location along the log which is awesome. Although, I wish they had a way to measure and mark your bucking lengths cause right now it's hard to eyeball it.
Move around, including crouching like I said, until you see a 'blue' circle on the log. Then just throttle up with the X or left mouse button until you see the 'green' circle.
Delimbing the branches off is guess work since you won't see any blue/green circles.
Just power up and slide the bar along the trunk, to get the branches on the sides, and flip 90 to do the branches on top and under.
Pretty long answer, but hope it helps.
Awesome, awesome, awesome. Didn't know this - would've made limbing that huge tree I felled last night a lot easier!
Loving the chainsaw, btw. Worth the price of admission all by itself, imho :)
Quick question though - any differences between the 3 chainsaws? I know the game allows you to switch on the fly, so I'm wondering if there's a difference besides graphics?
No, they are all the same. It's more a personal choice and brand preference. I'm a Husqvarna person myself, but Jonsered is also well respected and used in the business. I've actually never seen the 3rd brand from the game.
