Report a translation problem
I don't know about the Fanatec wheel, but it seems like nothing has changed since FS2013. I'm using a Logitech G27 and all problems I had in FS2013 is still present in FS15
I'm sorry, but there is no FFB (atleast for the G27).
Thanks for the info.
That is really sad ... actually. :(
What are the problems with other wheels?
I have a G27 and it works ok. Steering is good and pedals work. What does not though are over 1/2 the buttons. Only 2 of the 6 on the wheel work, and the padel buttons just behind the wheel also work. Clutch is a no go but no suprise there as base game doen't have gears meaning shift column is also not working. Then on the shifter part only a couple of the 12 (including D pad) can be mapped. I should note though i will take nominal functionality of my wheel over using WASD or a gamepad.
i have a wheel, but use a gamepad, and am curious.
Most people use a flight stick for frontloaders with a wheel.
Can I ask how you got it to work please? My G27 pedals drive the game nuts, the menu at the start has a fit, then in game the view goes every direction... I have to "balance" the brake & acc pedals to even look straight ahead. :(
Sounds like you have a conflicting keybinding but here is what i did in full:
First things first go into the logitech profiler. Once there go options>global device settings. I have all Force feedback/ centering spring at 100% but the important settings here is report combined pedals, and allow program to change settings. You should also make sure there are no keybindings entered here as this may cause a conflict later on.
Once you are in game at the main menue make sure you have the enable wheel/gampad option selected. Next go into controls and clear everything under game pad/ wheel to make sure there are no conflicts. Scroll down the list to find drive controls and click on the spot for forward. Once you can set the binding press the gas pedal all the way then release. This should automatically set brake/reverse. Next find the line for steering and turn your wheel all the way in that direction and back. Save these changes and hop into a game to test.
Using this same method I am also using a Saitek FLY 5 joystick for all frontloader and crane controls. All controls seem to be functional on it.
Hope this helps.
It worked a treat! Thank you very much! :)
tried this and remappiong wont pick up my pedals .. when i turn off combined axis remapping picks it up then ... everything else works fine. this is wierd cuss i used this driving force gt with previous farm sim games np.
global is set to game sets the device, combined axes.
this has me stumped
I just did this again about 3 weeks ago and it worked great....though i did have some issues with the pedals also. I unplugged the wheel and restarted the game, cleared all bindings again. Closed it down. Plugged in the wheel and it took. There may be some issues with windows 10 as that was the only change i had from the last time. It has worked great ever since though.
Unfortunatly the game sees movement as + or - ( + being forward, and - being reverse.) Without combined axis it also sees the resting point of the gas pedal as full -. I have seen some talk about changing the axis inside the config files and that might help, but i honestly have never touched it myself.
As it kinda makes the game unplayeble with a steering wheel :)

If you are using a logitech wheel you need to go into the logitech profiler > global settings> report combined pedals. Make sure this is turned on. There should be a similar option with other programs if you are using a different wheel.
