making silage

how do i make silage ? i already have the Ursus Z-586 implement but i tryed to do it with a square and round bale of barley and wheat but it says Bale not suported. i also tryed to use the Ursus implement directly from the straw result of from harvest the barley or weat and nothing hapend.
Plz help

Cut grass or turn corn into chaff, gather it with a forage wagon/tipper, then deposit into a bunker, when the bunker is full cover and wait.

Also you can gather grass with the default round bailer and use the wrapper to wrap it. Immediatly turning it into silage.

easy cheapest way
1-cut the grass
2- spread the grass to let it dry
3- use the other tool to bring back the grass in a row for easy pickup
4- round bale
5- wrap
6- you have sillage bale.

if you dont use mods, only dry grass can be turned into sillage bale.

use krone big x1100 with different header.
you can collect straw on the ground behind your harvester.

or

cut your crop and grass or cut corn.
i only tested 2 trailer that can be attach to krone big x.

bring the chaff to a bga your cow bga of bio gaz bga.

fill minimum 10% and compact + R to cover then wait.
when the cover disepear you have what you need for mixig food of sell to bio gaz with front loader. or conveyer belt if you have mods.

I have unloaded 61k liters of grass and compacted to 100% but no option to cover pops up. It says only 7% filled though.

Bunker must be filled above 10%

@ Alchanick. you are mistaken with basic silage making.

You do not need to use the tedder if you are going to use the round bailer and wrapper. Simply windrow your grass, collect with the round bailer and wrap. You now have silage.
