Steam Workshop is a more worthy cause to pressure Giants over. At least it has a remote possibility of happening. Anybody who thinks Giants is going to champion the fight to free the internet of reposted mods should...well...they should really give that another think...
Homemade mods are not copyrighted, not even the once that the creaters cry "dont upload to other sites".
big deal.
i am NOT gonna sign
+1
And removing 1 Site solves any problem.... sure.... HA-HA
Btw Topic should be renamed to: Internet must go.
Thats the only way to "solve" things like this.
Even REAL copyrighted Things get hacked, pirated and whatever, THATS the Internet, the whole World must deal with it.
Sure, because if i dont want those things happening, i simply wont upload anything.
2. If you are going to create one and want to keep it to yourself don't upload it anywhere...
3. I'm assuming your a member of some FS 15 or modding website and you want your mods to be "exclusive" to that site. I only know of 2 sites like that that have decent mods on them. Not saying they are the only 2, I'm saying with all the looking I do they are the only ones I've found. So if your on a differnt site I don't know about and someone "stole" a mod from it an placed it on modhub and I'm using it. Kudos to the person who uploaded it to Modhub!!!!
4. You cain't sell the mod, so other than having your name in the credits (which 99% of the time your name stays on the mod anyway) WTF does it matter?
