Invert Y-Axis not working [SOLVED! Thanks to Sethos]

The Y-axis invert for the controller/gamepad doesn't seem to work at all.

Does not work for me either. I think i might need to refund. Just bought it. No invert..

Doesn't work for me either, even tried that "gameSettings.xml" fix but that only worked in the tutorial. Considering a refund as well.

I sent the game developers an email,

I am unable to invert the Y-axis on my wireless Xbox 360 controller. I have enabled the option in the menu (that didn't work). After changing the in-game settings to invert Y, inputBinding.xml (located in Documents\my games\FarmingSimulator2015) shows the following...
    
axis name="AXIS_LOOK_UPDOWN_PLAYER" category="ONFOOT" key1="KEY_down" key2="KEY_up" key3="" key4="" button="" axis="AXIS_4" device="0" invert="false" button1="" button2="" mouse="" mouseAxis="" visible="true"

So I manually modified the configuration file, inputBinding.xml, as follows...
    
<axis name="AXIS_LOOK_UPDOWN_PLAYER" category="ONFOOT" key1="KEY_down" key2="KEY_up" key3="" key4="" button="" axis="AXIS_4" device="0" invert="true" button1="" button2="" mouse="" mouseAxis="" visible="true" />

That didn't work either.  I'm out of options.  Please help.

They replied,

did you already have activated your controller in your settings?  Are you able to change other bindings for your controller in the game?  what happens, if you set invert="true" for your specific inputs?

So, yeah, not much help there.

Heh, think I may have discovered the issue. The invert option in the main menu doesn't work. However, when you press escape during the game and press the little right arrow on the box that appears, in the right hand corner, you get another option to invert the Y-axis on the controller.

That works for me.

okay, a dumb question.. if you know which inputs to alter, why not just do it inverted that way?

right.. im gonna use WASD as ref here.. what im guessing you are after here is inverting the controls so that when you press W it will act as if you pressed S - you want the forward key to make you go backwards..
is that completely wrong or?

No, no. Not the keyboard inputs. I'm trying to invert the Xbox360 controller right stick Y axis input.

That works for me.

You are the best! That worked! Not sure why it works in that menu but not the main menu. But hey, at least it's inverted now.

Ok, I understand you now. Yes, I tried that in the settings menu. There is an option to remap both up and down but it didn't matter which direction I pushed on the right thumb stick. That didn't do anything to invert the Y axis either. The only place that works is in the scenerio that Sethos found. I sent the developers an email asking them to fix the coding bug.
