Giants editor, White textures in game
Hello, when i was making my map for fs 15. The textures were loading in the editor but in the game they were just white and did not have any textures. I have been looking for a solution but did not find anything. Does someone know a fix for this?

Are all of the textures coming up white, or only those for some objects that you imported into the map. If the latter is the case it means that all of the files for that object were not imported. Are you exporting objects from another map or did you download some objects from a web site.

The textures of the map itself are loading but the textures of the mods and other maps are not loading.

How did you export the objects from the other map. The correct way would be to open the other map, select the object, and select export selected with files from the menu. Ensure that you have the entire object selected and not a sub component of the object. Export the object to a folder within the maps folder of the map you are modifying. I usually create an imports folder for all of the objects I'm going to import into my map. Close this map (don't save) and open the map your modifying. Select import from the menu, navigate to your imports folder and click on the i3d file for the object you want to import. This will add it to the scenegraph of your map. You can now use ctrl + B to add it to your map

The textures are not loading do you need to press ctrl + B? Or can you just import them directly via file in the top left corner?

Because they were still not loading.

CTRL + B creates an instance of the object on the map. You need to import the object using the import function from the menu. Are you exporting from the other map using export or export with files.

Try importing an object that you haven't imported before, using the method I described and see if that works? Where are you saving the export?

Verify the exported files did actuall export into a subfolder of the map you want to import the object into. If the texture files are external to the map mod folder they won't be able to find the textures.
