Apparently you didnt see my response to this considering the website says the minimum requirements for the game is "•Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8" and the minimum required video cards are both DX10 cards.
That's the long and short of it.
My dad is an XP supporter, and still thinks it's better than ANY other O/S It's not, the menus are really difficult to navigate especially after using Windows 8.1 for some time. I hope Developers drop support of XP altogether that O/S is buggy ♥♥♥♥.. I honestly can't imagine why someone would call themselves a gamer yet have a 14 year old O/S..
Also concidering that XP dont support the latest hardware, XP users are not gamers, but its hard for some people to chage to a more advanced OS. Win XP was exellent in its day. Win 8/8.1 on the other hand is one OS ill avoid, bit like the days of Win ME, Win Vista, they are another 2 OS's that was worth avoiding.
That is quite a paradox. If your PC is good, then it can support win7 or other OS. And isn't because the game don't support winXP, it's because of the DirectX 10 (win XP only supports up to DirectX 9).
Also, you dont need a "new PC" just to install a newer OS. Do you really know how a PC works?
I also like winXP. For me it was the best OS ever released, but, unfortunately, things have to change after a time :(
That's about as clear as your ganna get it, if he doesn't undestand that then stop wasting your time.
Id like to know the specs of this "Good computer" that only supports XP. The dude probably still has a 3½ Floppy drive installed and a turbo switch on his case that he thinks makes his puter faster.
XP has also been dropped my Microsoft. Only big businesses that will throw Microsoft money will be kept up to date with security and software from Microsoft for their XP OSs. So, what's the point of supporting an OS that's not even the company that made it gives a damn about?
