Consoles are made for games mainly. PC's means Personal Computer and doesn't really say "Made for gaming". It's just a market share thing. Nothing in regard to technical capabilities.
You couldn't be more wrong. Why are you even in this thread anyway if you don't have a mac?
Mac's are superior when it comes to day to day tasks. Every above "in my mom's basement" grade music studio, film studio etc uses them ... there are few that prefer Windows...Mac is just more stable etc.
Anyway...can we please not argue if mac is better or not in this thread? For me it is, for this guy it obviously isn't (maybe he can't afford one) or whatever...
This isn't a Mac vs PC.
To answer your latest question...BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS VERSION OF FARMING SIMULATOR WAS RELEASED FOR MAC! Isn't it kind of obvious? FS2013 runs perfectly on my Mac. It was released on Steam. FS2015 will be released for Mac. So why are you still trying to tell me that Macs aren't used for gaming?
I hope this post explains your issues with Macs.
Honestly, I'm really sick of people complaining whenever there's a Mac question. Does it somehow interfere with your life? If it does let me know I'll stop. If you don't have an answer to my question, if you're here just because you don't have anything better to do, please start another thread and complain there.
Giants still has teh software listed as releasing nov 7th on their site via direct puchase and download. Steam, once again, provides NO INFORMATION AT ALL about any future Mac versions, when/if THEY will support it...
Either they aren't supporting it, they willl support it but aren't supporting it immediately on the 7th, or they are launching it on the 7th...
But their silence is deafening! All they have to do is add the "Coming out for the Mac platform Nov 7th", or whatever, and NONE of these questions would even exist.
Happens all the time sadly.
Yeah I wish they would tell us something. But we'll see on the 7th I guess. If it won't be available on Steam I'll just order it directly.
But seriously, It's a communication issue.
Why should I buy an over priced OS I simply don't want or need (I have my ancient XP PC for my 2D CAD and chip programming) to avoid a communication issue. Steam is just bad at communicating these things with it's Mac users. It's not Giant's fault, It's not Apple's fault. It's Steam. They release for PC, and forget that there are other people still waiting for announcments. They just STOP COMMUNICATING.
I'll get my Mac compatible game in about 4 days. Boo hoo, it came out a week later... Hopefully the wood chipper works out of the gate for us! I mean, you PC users HAVE given Giant's a week's worth of beta testing! It's all Intel coding anyway, all basically the same core code in a different wrapper! Maybe they'll have that patched by the time my Mac version is out! :P
