Add hotels. Offices require hotels to accommodate businessmen.

Are you sure about that? I would say add Inter-City roads or an Airport.

Intercity roads and Airport are for freight. The best way is check the hotels production (token panel, passengers tab) but imo it's this.

They add both freight and passenger capacity. A Highway Link add 100 of each.

Yes but here the problem is not the freight but the "Nearby Passenger Services". Business hotels are here for that. In the game logic when a businessman come in a city with the roads/airport he must have hotels for stay and offices should have near hotels for conventions, etc.. ;)

The recourses an Office building buy are Business Hotels and Hi-tech industry, that’s correct. But the Company’s profits are influenced by “The quality of Life” and “Passenger Service”. What OP asked about was Passenger Service.

Yes and passenger services are business hotels.

Sorry but that is incorrect. Passenger services refers to the Economy/Passenger overlay, the greener the road the better the passenger services for offices built on that road. The closer a road is to an intercity connection, the greener the road. If you notice Business Hotels profits also depend on nearby passenger services.

Yes traffic (and the connections proximity not freight capacity) is included in passenger services (like the industry), it's normal you must be able to access the office. We are Ok on this but, I'm may be wrong, for me business hotels are included on passenger services.

This + ftraffic. Both increase the road's green-ness <-- i had to relocate all my offices and hotels to the orange roads and their profits went solid green from orange and red

...or you could have built an Inter-City road nearby.

nay, they were orange and red because they are treated like houses when it comes to polution, had them in industrial area, now they are in residential area

OK, so now we talk about pollution.

Haha, okay I guess that kind of answered my question? I'll try all of that and see what happens. While I have your attention, one more question. How do I decrease production in my shops? They aren't going well, and it says I need to descrease production.

Thanks for all your help!

Just demolish some of them and then rebuild when your population grows.
