Are There Any Mods?

Are there any mods that more to the game besides sounds and skins? For instance units, and additional enhancements to the battle editor that allows more units to be added to the map?

There are some great user missions (Google Chaudard's Graviteam missions) but I haven't found anything along the lines you've listed.

The bits that control that are too compiled to modify, maybe if enough people ask the battle editor could get updated one day to allow battle groups?

This would be great. I love the quick play and wish they would have the advanced unit structures and maybe some larger maps and an increased time limit also. It's a great mode but could be so much more.

i've modded the compositon of squads, the weapons and their stats, the composition of platoons, deleted all wire troops and replaced them with manpack radio troops, added integrated dismounted FOs to all mortar and artillery units (no longer requires reinforcement), deleted off-map artillery entirely and replaced it with on-map only. tweaked shell damage for artillery and mortars, modified the OOB for campaigns, and modifed the available platoons in QBs.

as a result i tend to have very few complaints about the game. highly suggest people get into doing this, though often new updates can break parts of your mod.

Would you be willing to share? Those are all features of the game I would like to remove.

no plans to release anything at the moment but i've just posted some screenshots of some of my US stuff over in tank warfare tunisia including a US FO team with manpack radio, and an overview shot of a six gun battery with FO.

Thanks. I own Tunisia but didn't particularly enjoy it I'm afraid.
