Well now, the new DLC has been probably the most frenetic slug fest a that I’ve had so far. The smaller map size really helps drive the desperation on both sides, with the Russian attempts to push through and the German attempts to close the potential breakout.

The massive hill has been a brutal fight so far, trying to protect my limited AT and 88s from the horde of KV, T34 and BTs while multiple MGs take advantage of the visibility to suppress.

I simply didn’t expect this level of brutality, even compared to against the tide. Very strong recommendation, and a difficult campaign so far.

I see on Steam that only this addon is on sale. That's a bit odd that a new battle is on sale but the older ones aren't.

But it's good that it's a battle from 1941. Not enough of those. And from reading about the battle on the Steam page it seems to be an interesting one.

I'll wait for that Russian speaking YouTube youngster to upload his gameplay to see what the fighting is like.

No, that is standard policy for GT. When a new DLC releases it will always be on sale for some days IIRC.

Which side would you recommend playing as?

Both sides have a bloodshed to fight.

Germans has poor AT, some 88 (motorized mount! no terrain bug!) and so many 105 howitzers (36 guns, a whole AR is at your disposal).

Soviet has some nice heavy armor and many light tanks, but inexperienced. They also have 2 cavalry regiments, so you won't worry about manpower.

I bought it, but I am in the midst of a Roman civil war at the moment.

The size is intriguing. I am looking for something smaller to test the new game features.

StuG III B/C/D only (7.5cm/L24, very light contribution to AT defense). Sdkfz 232 is in a combined recon plt not available to player control.

Thanks, mate! I've just bought Stalemate on Donets but I think I have to buy the new DLC as well! After all I had to refund a lot of bad games recently ('wargames' and other genres) and it's time to reinvest some of that refund money into Graviteam.

I'm only two battles in, but they were both very action packed! I can recommend this one for sure.

This DLC is a meeting engagement scenario, rather than classic attack/defense/counterattack. Both sides meet at a certain point and chaos ensued.

Prepare to retreat when things gone south.
