And I guess devs can be busy with more essential things at this moment if you know what I mean..
Yeah, I guess you right. If 4K is a top priority for you then you are not going to find strong support for it in this version of game.
Its unique game so there is not much choice. And 4K is still something exotic and unreliable for most of us. You are ahead of time a bit ))

The ratio of overall screen size to text size is good for me. Now, a 32 inch monitor is REALLY large for a desk, but there it works.
While 4K use is still a minority there are a lot of good 4K monitors available now and most somewhat newer games support it without any issues. But yes, it will be many years before it becomes "standard", if at all. The overall cost for it is significant (GPU and monitor), but within the next few years and futher improved upscaling techniques it could be feasible for almost everybody, at least in theory (once 4K monitor prices drop significantly).
All of that lol. I could move my couch closer, but I don't want to. Almost every other game I want to play lets me increase the font and UI to a playable state. Plus my vision sucks.
I do not even have a TV, my 32 inch monitor is my TV :). I use it for work, for playing games and watching Netflix and stuff. I have a nice chair to lean back in for watching stuff (I can fall asleep in it). I would guess that really the majority is using "classic" monitors and a desk setup for playing games, at least the industry seems to think so, too. For me it would feel weird to use a TV/couch setup for this :).
People and different individual preferences, haha.
