Seems clear enough on the store page.
But you can try play through Wine.
Vulkan is here too!
Anyway, I appreciate the prompt response. Thanks!
edit: this is the error I'm encountering: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/2543
but as mentioned: switching off audio is a perfect workaround!
(At the bottom I noted something that may help you that the Linus Tech video mentioned on switchable graphics issues, like Nvidia Optimus)
Well, I'm reading your post. I'm beginning to get interested in all the Graviteam Tactics games, I have the whole of Operation Star Bundle and now Tank Warfare.
And, I'm hoping to maybe make a new computer in about a year, and jettison most of Windows as much as possible, as I'd prefer not to have more than 1 Windows 10 computer (it came with it). I use my Windows 7 oldie for gaming, and I'll probably build a Linux PC next time.
That you can get it to run just now with Steam Play is great, especially on an Intel HD, as there had been some posts about it being difficult on the Intel HD drivers.
Linus Tech Tips has a video form April 9, 2019 that suggests PopOS and Manjaro distro. But anyway, very good news.
Are you still using Virtual Box beforehand, they said you can also just try off a USB thumb drive, if you prepare it a certain way?
Oh, they did mention that some distros do not have the latest fixes for Nvidia Optimus, since I think that is a switching type graphics thing, whatever that means. Take a look at that video, they mention it 2-3 times and put a graphic up for Optimus I think. I think they said that the latest Ubuntu has some fix for it, so it will eventually be fixed in other updating distros.
This is the link to that Linus Tech Tips video:

At around the 11:15 mark, there is some mention of Nvidia Optimus and after that some discussion of potential solutions. Hope that helps some.
I can live without sound. Let's be honest: the sound is not really the strongest point of the graviteam games anyway :) The game on the intel onboard gfx is just too slow and when running on optimus it's really smooth, so I'm happy with the way it runs!
