I played both but gave up on CM as I found the CM AI & micromanaging a real killer once I'd realised what this is capable of.
Tried a few of the most recent demos & just cannot get back into it at all....
For me GT is superior, but it is very dependent on what you are looking for. :)
Cheers
It's all well and good having a perfectly simulated Stryker platoon, but if you then have to take on a company-strength force dug into an urban area, it's stopped being a simulator and you might as well go play Command and Conquer.
You'll get none of that nonsense in Graviteam.
Maybe ask the devs if this runs via Bootcamp and have an Intel based Mac.
The only issue I had in the past with Bootcamp and games was the eGPU box with my 1080Ti. I since built a Win PC so it's no longer an issue for me, but if you want to give GT a try, maybe someone on here has run it on Bootcamp.
Yup, your choice. Although for a few thousand $$ of non-Bootcamp Mac players, it's not even close to worth it for a small team to do a Mac version.
Keyword = major.
Hell Let Loose?
Post Scriptum?
Escape from Tarkov?
None of those run on Mac. If those 100+ person teams won't do a Mac version (and Battlestate Games has over 500), then it's totally fine for GT to not do one.
I'll take GT over EA or Dice or Activision any day of the week.
And there's no reason not to "do" Bootcamp. You're the one missing out on the GT experience - not GT missing out on your $$.
It usually comes down to what’s more important to you, generally if you want have multiplayer or not.
Yep, that's why you stopped by. Because it caught your eye and you kept wondering why it looks like you're playing on a table top in 2001.
Your refusal to stoop to trying Bootcamp so you can play this for free for 1h 59m is admirable.
CM has all the micromanagement you could ever dream of.
And the AI counterattacking on a battalion scale in GT is one of the many things that are better. Not to mention, it never disconnects or misses an appointment.
Actually, I would guess that multi payer is not the major dividing line for most that own both.
I own all the CM titles as well as all the GT titles, and have fun with both. I don't play multiplayer and have no desire for it. I like both gaming systems for what they can give me in single player, which is a lot.
Now if CM would finally release F&R then I can continue with my advance into Germany. :)
