It would be great to be able to detach trucks from their units during tactical battles, or for that matter to be able to attach them to other units, or permanently exclude them from orders without having to remember to filter them out, in some cases you can have scores of them and not need any of them in a tactical sense.
I haven't had your issue since when I click a unit card it selects everything but the trucks. If i want trucks I have to micro each individual one.

In this case, there are 30 troops and exactly 30 spots in two Opel trucks (14 in the bed and 1 in passenger seat).
The second screenshot has guys continuing bumping into the truck even after everyone jump off after enemy opened fire
Yup. Just don't try to tow the big French guns with trucks. They struuuuuuggggglllle.
Yes, such transports are not in the game. The stupid Flaks weigh more than 5 tons.
Lol. "Stupid damn high velocity large caliber kills-tanks-at-2.3km lifesaver Flak."
Seriously, the thing is freakish big and heavy and it is really not that much better in penetration and damaging potential than a Pak 40, but considerably more expensive. The only reason they had to use it in this manner was, that they slept over the demand of modern AT guns.
I don't think that's quite fair. It was an AA gun designed for accurate fire against medium-high altitude bombers, and it became a dual-purpose AT (and anti-fortification in France and Belgium) weapon by circumstance and by virtue of its capabilities.
Your point would be well-made when comparing Tigers with Pz IV F2.
