Hi everyone! I've been working on uniform edits for the new Waffen SS uniforms for personal use to appear more authentic, and was wondering if there was anyone in the community who would be interested in a release for this pack (at least until night postman releases an update to his excellent uniform pack). Let me know!

Since there seems to be a little bit of interest, I'll go ahead and post them up for those who want them!

I'm aware these aren't perfect and 100% accurate, and if there's interest or need I'll continue to update the pack.

INSTALLATION

To install this mod, install the modpacks with the Graviteam launcher. When setting the load order, set the config files at the top of the load order, with the uniform mod in the 2nd position.

Can you make in future screenshots a comparison original vs modded ? I'am playing TW 43' at the moment so I don't remember well how vanilla MF SS are

I spent a couple hours last night mostly learning and experimenting with bump maps, I also did some work on the helmet and experimented with different ways to do the drawstrings:

Yeah they're supposed to be there lol. The M42 smocks had two pockets on the lower half of the smock:

Can we please have a mod for the Unit Numbers on the tanks and halftracks? The Panther has again the russian numbers, not german ones. They are in the game like on the Marders so i should not too hard to add them to the Panthers and halftracks.

Its strange, this error is in the graviteam games since "steel fury"

I may also tackle this if I need to as well, it's good practice for learning the game files lol.

It's true, and his update SHOULD be on the way within the next few months. This is really only a placeholder until his more complete and more experienced release comes.

In the meantime I've been experimenting with configs and adding new items, textures, changing individual unit configs, etc. in the very spare time I've had recently, and whipped up some skins for the officers.

I've added to both uniforms a complete set of foliage loops on chest, shoulders, and back, a new Waffen SS Officer belt buckle, and a new visor cap:
