3.7 cm Pak = AA guns?
Moving away from the modern warfare a second, I just noticed that that in the Kalinovka campaign there are a couple of companies from 15. Luftwaffe Feld Division that are the designated as 'AA' companies. They are armed with Pak 36s, which seems... impractical. Is this a typo or an oversight?

AA can also mean Anti-Armor, though?

You are correct in stating; "which seems... impractical," concerning the absence of AA units. AA units were in fact present among these units during these operations. Andrey addressed this issue some time ago. As it stands there are no "modeled" AA units to fill the description concerning AA units other than the Flak 38 and a Russian derivative. The 88MM Flak introduced in "Black Snow" was a long time in coming (I probably missed something here). I would like to see some of the 15. Luftwaffe Field Division units as well but I would not hold my breath for them. The latter is not the focus right now.

Having said the above, you never know though, because Andrey has been known to surprise everyone at times with models that no one saw coming. Once in awhile the developer will drop a pic on the community. . .;-)

Cheers

They were armed with small-caliber guns, which we do not have. And the next close replacement - small-caliber AT guns.

So 3.7cm PaK are there to subsitute for the light anti-armour/ anti-infantry role for something like a 2cm or 3.7cm Flak? That makes a lot more sense.

I hope the devs do get round to introducing a few more AA guns in the WW2 campaigns in the future. We do have the Zeus cannons in Modular, which gives me some hope. I totally get Graviteam's policy of not introducing 'iconic' weapons or vehicles that were actually only made in tiny quantities (Ferdinands/ Sturmpanzers et al), but I'm pretty sure the 20mm Flak 38 was the most produced German artillery piece of the war.

23mm AA, the "zeus" is the shilka (ZSU - zeus) which we don't have.

Yes, you are right, but an anti-aircraft guns costly in production. We cannot yet allocate resources and time for this now. But sooner or later these guns will appear I think.
