Savefile corrupted

every time I try to load the profile,the game tells tells me that it is corrupt . If I try to create a new one , the game crashes after the detection of the controller . Restarting it , the profile is corrupt and again I lose all saved game .

Turn off the steam overlay then delete the corrupted login. It should get you past the gamepad configuration question. At least it worked for me.

I have this problem too except this solution didn't work for me. When I alt tab out of the game after it's locked up, I see an error box that says the game requires a directx9c compatible video card and i have a gtx 970 with the latest video card drivers.

I can play it fine, but save games don't work, and it always crashes the first time I create a new profile. Basically I have to do it all in 1 sitting if I want to finish this.

Also changing resolutions crashes it occasionally.

I just want to add: I tried a bunch of the solutions on the support site, and then started getting the call stack error.. now I get that everytime I start, although I just hit ignore and it starts in French with no profiles.

Edit: it seems saves are working now, although I still have the call stack coming up every time it starts, and I have to change all the languages to english each time.
