Can't complete tutorial

When the police car comes at you, I am pressing A at the correct time. I also tried the left arrow key and the mouse controls. I get killed each time. They're all pressed when the symbol becomes highlighted on the screen.

I've only just bought the game. It's a poor start.

You have to press both of the keys at the same time, it is a bit tricky but when you get it to work it will continue to work

I dont understand this game

That scene where you are in your apt, after the diner... when the cop knocks on the door like some weird mini game plays with colors on the screen. There is no indication of how TF to do the mini game. Anyone know? I literally smashed my head on the keyboard trying to figure it out. Also pad will not work for me.

Hm you have to press the corresponding buttons on your keyboard and mouse. Whatever u see on the left you press with WSAD and whatever u see on right u do with holding mouse and swiping in a direction. U can actually avoid this altogether if u successfully cover your bed sheet and patch up your arms and wear full clothes before opening the door.
But trust me the qtes are just gonna get worse, I'm stuck at a much later part and I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥ frustrated
