SillyCot is saying right click the game in your library - > properties - > controller - > change drop down to Enable Steam Input. Also I'm not using any additional software such as DSX
It also might be required to go in game - > options - > controls - > change control type to controller. It might ask you to set up the controller, from what I could see, the default layout fit nicely, although it says "A and B", and what not.
After playing for 30 minutes or so, the only buttons that I've seen used were L1 and R1 (It was the first "walking backwards" part. The UI shows a left and right slider.r) and primarily right analogue for choice selection / actions.
Last little tip - on a playstation controller, hold X to run.
older games hat naturally large dead zones. modern controllers virtually do not have them.
most likely needs some tweaking. you probably need to increase the size of the dead zone so that you arent missing everything with minor mis inputs...
a modern controller treats these inputs like a golf game....if you slice or hook the input, your no gonna do the input in the game.
