Can't launch the game

I tried most of known solution. Re-installed Visual C++ 2005 SP1, deleted Visual C++ 2005 thru regedit and re-installed it through Steam, changed fullscreen settings to 0 in ini file, changed settings in aspyr launcher to launch game in windowed mode, tried to launch the game thru admin mode or windows 7 compability mode, verified file integrity, restarted my PC, but its all in vain. I am able to launch the aspyr launcher, but when I click on "PLAY", it closes the launcher and nothing else happens. I suppose one interesting thing I noticed, FahrenheitSub.exe doesnt even open aspyr launcher, giving me an error instead: "side-by-side configuration is incorrect". I am trying to run the game on Windows 10 in 64bit system. Is there anything else I can do???

I had to turn off the msi afterburner overlay for the game to launch or else it would always crash.

Maybe that's your problem?
