Stuck at the Fight Against Oracle on the Rooftop
Seriously, I'm pressing every button perfectly. At first I had difficulties with this QTE stuff but then I got used to it and I think it is easy. But during my first QTE experience, I lost my every "life" and now I have only 1 life which means once I fail, it starts from beginning no matter what I do. But the problem is, I do not fail. It is like a bug.

So, what I experience is: After the second button mashing phase, another pressing the buttons in the right time phase begins, and the Oracle punches Lucas down and he falls down on the ground and it doesn't give me the message "FAILED". Instead the game over screen comes and Lucas says and this is how my story ends... I watched the section on a gameplay video and the same thing happens to the guy although he too presses the buttons correctly like me, and Lucas goes down on the ground no matter what happens, it seems, so that is intended but after this part, it should continue. For me, it goes directly to the game over screen. I was wondering if it's because I do not have any "lives" left.

I'll also put the video to show the part in case someone will have a helpful advice.

It's the part at 5:35. It continues when Lucas falls down on the ground in the video. But for me, as soon as he falls down, the game over screen comes...

try changing the difficult to easy and see if that helps ( i remember a part in which i was on the edge of a balcony and keep falling down even if pressing the right button ,switching from normal to easy made me pass that part)

Thank you for the reply. I have tried it in easy mode as well. Sadly it didn't help. The same thing happens in easy mode too.

It really sucks that a game that has a great story like any other Quantic Dream game is locked behind unnecessarily difficult QTE phases. I looked for trainers and stuff which would give me full lives but apparently there is none of those cheating stuff in this game. It seems like my only options are to start from beginning or to uninstall and install again and see if that helps...

If there is anyone else with any other ideas don't hesitate to share because I really don't want to start over.

Yeah the QTE's suck the only other thing i can think of is to try switching back to classic mode and maybe you'll get reduced input lag maybe? Hopefully you beat the game though.

Hey, I seem to have the same problem with the game, I've been at it for hours and I just can't seem to make it work no mater what. Same moment. Same exact thing, the game just ends. Did you manage to find a way to fix this? Thanks for any help.

The only difference I've seen the playthroughs is that people have some lives every time they die. They start with two and my game just starts me off with zero. Idk if that's related in any way. :steamsad:

Did anyone ever manage to solve this? Getting exact same issue. QTE near that part is perfect, but I still lose regardless of difficulty
I have never encountered this problem before, and I usually fail because I missed a QTE. Fahrenheit's QTE seems to be very strict, even if only one is missed, it can lead to failure.
