well i have windows 7 and i found a way to run it ! :D you have to go to your library - right click on Poker Night At The Inventory - click on propreties - click on the << local files >> tab - browse the local files - start up CelebrityPoker and play :)

I just installed this game a few days ago and I have yet to actually be able to play it :( I have windows 8, no errors messages or anything when I start it.

I had the same problem, it's something with tell tale games and having an Xbox 360 pad plugged in. To fix it download dinput8.dll and put it in the same folder as CelebrityPoker.exe. You can find more information - and a link to the dll - if you google for problems with the walking dead game.

It is working. dinput8.dll is to make the .exe able to use keyboard, mouse n stuff.

Just preorder 2 and went to play this. Cant get it to load on win 8. Says its installing some windows crap then nothing happens.

Afaik this is exactly what happens if your problem involves the dll I mentioned earlier. This was my problem when trying to play The Walking Dead and Poker Nights, the steam install thing, maybe some windows thing, and then nothing. Refer to my previous post.
