There is hope yet for an Uncensor patch.
The data files have been opend up and the censored CG is still in there. Im not gonna post here how it was done because im not sure what ghostlights stance on the whole matter is, but here is an image as proof.

Note this isnt saying a patch exists yet, just that the data is still in the game which makes the possibility of esentialy turning the content back on a lot easyer than if the data had been deleated entierly.

Ok i found where the combat sprites for the DLC characters live, 1,2,4 are there and 3(Elis) is not, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that makes things very hard. Annoyingly Ellis' portrait is still in the files, i assume a hold over from Zero, so i got excited for a while there.

How ever all of the minigame sprites and layers are there so its possible to restore that at least, as well as the missing CG.

Based modders doing Gods work. Good luck to you.

And this is why the PC version will trump a console, well assuming the hooks were not removed. Here is hoping for a restoration patch.

well I hope you luck in finding a way to get the content back. I'm not compter experct but I found the same files that you

I for one don't accept this one bit, Ghostlight did it FOR A REASON, pissed by it too bad, but rummaging with a companies files can get you into alot of trouble, read the License Agreement first if ppl are allowed to make adjustments to the gamefiles.

If people weren't allowed to make a patch, Ghostlight would have said something by now. Besides, most other games like these on Steam have had uncensor patches with no issue.

that might be the case for that company, but those are mostly Indie companies, with no real huge name to worry losing. Ghostlight exists quite long and they do have a name to uphold, that most ppl are pissed off by this that says more about them imo. Ghostlight already said while the CBT was running that those content can't be returned OR won't return it for reasons.

Oh get off your high horse. Read my thread about what I found ont he IF/Nisa forums, Ghostlight never needed to remove any content, they just needed to change the word child when reffering to Fiona to something else. Someone found proof of it too by asking Pegi directly. So to this day ghostlight still has not responded to this evidence about why they went the extra mile and did the extra work to remove stuff they did not need to? Also no one cares if they are allowed to or not, they will do it anyway, many games lack any real mod support, people still mod them. There is no way for them to find out either since its a single player game.

All and all I hope they make the patch.

Before you go calling me a Pedo, do you watch anime? if so, you probally know that you see obvously underaged girls wearing less clothes than that in them quite often. You or I may/may not like it, but its a part of the culture.

That might be acceptable for you, but not for the rest of us. i wished that Aksys would of published the steam version (american publisher that published it for the US consols) this way we could have a complete game. So I'm all for it. Besides GL lied to us by not saying anything on the store page about removing content from the game.

All yall need to realise that removing content because of imaginary boogymen is poopoohead levels of dumb, especially when discussing fiction

^^

Someone is new to PC modding :P

At any rate, good luck to anyone eventually trying to fix and restore what Ghostlight did.

I still hope Ghostlight themselves unofficially put foward a patch.

Raise your hand if you were old enough to remember those old Tomb Raider nude mods? Ghostlight just absolves themselves of the warranty aspect when mods or patches outside of the official ones are created. Basically, you can't go to them if something breaks or crashes your game.

Once the game is on the PC locally and espcially for PC games that are mainly single player offline, there is really nothing Ghostlight can do. That is the beauty of PC gaming in general. If they really wanted to prevented full out, they should have completely stubbed the files and references along with encrypting every single file to the point where it can't be hacked which on a PC is not worth the time or effort.
