What was cut compared to the NA PS3 version?

Hi, completely new to this series, but it piqued my interest. I've been reading the discussion trying to decide if I should buy this or not and I've seen people complain about censorship, even though it seems like from a technical/hardware point of view, the PC version performs better.

What exactly was cut? Is it possible to view the cut content on something like youtube?

All that was cut, was two CGs involving the child version of Fiona. The one with the banana, and the hotspring one. The only "cut" content is in Gen 1. I was one of those people who were salty about it at first, but it's honestly no big deal at all. It doesn't affect the game in the slightest, and something like that shouldn't prevent anyone from playing a game they might enjoy. And yes, it should be possible to view the content. I THINK those two events for the CG are still in the game, except you just don't get the CG... I failed pretty hard due to unforseen affection issues and couldn't get them for True End, so I moved on.

Ellis DLC was cut from the EU version on PS3, and since this is also the EU version, it'll probably be cut here too.

If you read my post about the post I found on the Nis/idea factory forums, apparently all they had to do was change the word child when reffering to fiona/ellis to something else and everything else could have been left in game. Why they went thru all the extra work to remove entire chars and such when changing a few words would have sufficed is beyond me. It was probally based on the ps3 version which this game is based on, so its kinda relevent.

Right, true. Totally forgot about those. But, my opinion on playing it still stands. To me, that content is no big deal, except for the hotspring ones... Which I think should still be in the game...

None of the scenes should had been cut. I'm not sure what Ghostlight is doing with this kind of stuffs. Cut content isn't 'minor' stuff imo.

The banana scene is still there. What's the "Fiona getting attacked by monsters" scene? First I've heard of it.

This is really tame stuff. I can't believe these are against the law, even in the UK. If so, that's just crazy. You can't even see a nipple. They even obscured the butts with steam!

Keep in mind this got a "T rating by the ESRB in North America. It really fits for such extremely innocuous material. It's more "cute" than "erotic". "Titillating" at worst.

If this is really illegal in the UK, I am just floored and cannot believe a video game publisher wouldn't flee to somewhere else.

But of course that's not true, GL released Agarest 1 and Zero which have scenes which could much more easily be called erotic than this stuff.

I dont see a trouble with any of that CG. Cute and tame at best.

I dont get censoring the artwork. So much work is put into this games that by just a flick of a finger its decided that should be censored.

I'd be surprised to see only 2 cut CGs considering Ghostlight confirmed 4 were cut for their PS3 release and this is a port of the PS3 release. Might be worth one of the developers popping in and clarifying whether it is in fact 2 or 4. Gamefaqs has a quote from Ghostlight stating 4 CGs and Fiona ripped out of the generation 1 mini game for the original PS3 release.

Any reason why Ellis was cut? I can understand why they removed the stuff with Fiona, but I didn't think a DLC character would have any scenes like that.
