"MOVIE: Open File not found" Window crash

So... I'm not exactly sure how to even describe this bug. I'll go to boot up the game, it'll go to a black screen, and then as the usual "hey try using setam features!" popup shows up in the bottom right, the game freezes. I have to use ctrl+alt+delete just to get out of the black unresponsive screen, at which point I can see a window just above the play/stop/install button on my library page that says MOVIE: Open not found. Any time I try to click on it, or do literally anything after getting out of the frozen black window screen, the window just disappears and agarest2 closes out. No crash file/notification ever comes up, file validation and fresh installs haven't changed anything. I even tried installing into my (much smaller) C drive instead of my 1tb E drive thinking maybe it was a pathing problem. No such luck, Game still can't "find" the opening movie.

Anyone else had this issue and/or found a way to fix it? I haven't seen anything that sounds even remotely similar in the discussions.
