Been awhile , I remember you need to build this sword tho fast or you have to eat tons of food anyone remember how to unlock this sword "spell" by chance?

Oh I don''t have the game anymore I am waiting also , just trying to think of some of the old tricks.

You either hope that a sword dropped by enemies has it, or you repeatedly forge and disassemble a weapon, hoping the parts come out with the right charm configuration to create a Life % Death charm.

On the PS3 version, you could randomise the stock of the blacksmith by simply opening the "buy" section of the store then going back to the shop's menu, then reopening the "buy" section. This method worked for some of the more "basic" charms like "Life & Death". To guarantee other charms like "Big Shot" you had to reassemble and disassemble swords until the weapon components had the right charm configuration.

Nice , ya I kinda remember now. I swear thier was a quest to give the poor 2 items of food , to make the life & death show up? This might be me projecting tho I play so many games they blend togeather sometimes lol.

There is a quest where you have to give some homeless people food, but it's not for unlocking Life & Death charms.

I think the blacksmith's items which contain charms like "Life & Death" are all avaliable from the start of the game, straight after the introduction battle. You don't need to do the first homeless quest to unlock the items. The money you gain from that job is useful though.

Nice thanks guys , to people that do not know you build a charm sword(dose not have to be your main sword you can switch to it just to fill meters)to fill up your meters and save you money in the long run , but you lose a sword spot doing this.

So like if you are oreing swords to upgrade you might not want the life & death sword on you at that time.

I know alot of this does not make sence right now but soon as we get the game you will see what we were talking about.

Some spoiler alert ! be warned before reading.

Life & Death is to prefer is battling much like grinding for scrolls and just play around, the one thing i will do at first is to get all the stances i want and then grind for some good parts and make a weapon and then bash it to bits until i can make i indestructible after that i'll try to make the "gold-digger sword" and get enough money to play around ;)

There a many ways to do this. If you want a stylish sword you will gather the pieces you want and keep reforging untill you get what you want. You have better chances of doing this on a harder dificulty for the console version anyway. It can be time consuming but I often found it easy to simply try to get an ok sword and just play on the regular dificulties. So you don't lose interest in grinding you just try it once in a while so you don't have to worry too much. Plus there are many styles that require you to lose energy, take massive damage and so on to complete the move list. If you have life death on your swrd and it is your only sword you will have dificulty.
