Best way to get Shinobi stances?

I've been playing the game for a bit, and have a decent amount of styles, but I have not gotten a shinobi stance to drop yet, dispite fighting PLENTY of npcs using said style.

Is there a quick, sure fire way to at least get ONE of the shinobi stances?

Saiga Swordfighting
Location: Black Masks (seems like a rare drop)
Stance: Shinobi

Urahara Swordfighting
Location: Madara's stance, during The Truth event or The Light of Hope, The Flames of Prajna endings. Also can be your final opponent during the tournament for independent.
Stance: Shinobi

Genba Swordfighting
Location: Kill the muderer in the cimetery during the homeless mission "The Players"
Stance: Shinobi

Asuka Swordfighting
Location: Orochi one of the Four Samurai Lords (during Four Samurai Lords vs Yakuza Quartet (betraying him after the event or The Amihama Eight)
Stance: Shinobi

Toho Swordfighting
Location: The 5 star challenger, one member of the dojo must be male (cannot have all females)
Stance: Shinobi
Note it requires the sword Morning Moon to master, this is a hard drop from Orochi after Four Samurai Lords vs Yakuza Quartet or The Amihama Eight you have to betray him either way.

Oniwa Swordfighting
Location: Clean Samurai during Protest for Gramps
Stance: Shinobi

Fumo Swordfighting
Location: Bounty in Cemetery during Nodobotoke mission
Stance: Shinobi

Climactic Swordfighting
Location: One of the female bodyguards during Kobato's missions
Stance: Shinobi

Does difficulty affect the drop rate on styles? Been playing on normal.

I got my first (and only) two shinobi stance style in Normal. The first one is Climactic the second one is Urahara.

If you don't care about your Unsuitable Conduct record for end game, just keep kicking the dead guys/girls until they drop extra item. The extra item has probability to being stylebook

That drop list isn't comprehensive either. I think the person who wrote it originally was just reporting where they got the styles. Some are defintely tied to specific characters, like Madara. Others are not. I recently got Fumo while grinding missions for the foreigners. I think it was a Royal Marine mission. I defintiely didn't get it from a bounty.

Easy and normal seem to have a higer drop chance on books.While hard and harakiri seem to drop more weapon parts.Although i can confirm the Climactic style being dropped from the girls in pink that guard the lady killer person.But most can be dropped randomly if the npc is using it.

Got Geneba Swordfighting from the Cemetary fight. 1 down, many to go.

Madara and Togoro both have unique ninja styles. You can kill madara in the tourny or the cemetery for her style. You need to kill her in the cemetery, then enter the tournament as an independant for Togoro to appear in the 3rd fight to get his style. NOTE: you must defeat Togoro on HARD, then unlock Shinobi Dual Arms from the title screen unlock menu for 400 samurai points, THEN kill him a second time on HARD for his style drop. You cannot pick up the book until you unlock the ability to do so. Its the same as Rifles with Charles.

As for the other styles, the higher the difficulty, the more likely you will see a drop. Dojo challengers will have a few unique styles, but not always drop the book. Be vigilant.

The Amihama 8 side-quest has several dual arms styles and some cool unique styles and weapons. Again, being on HARD matters.

Black Masks only show up in certain endings, the easiest being the Pranja ending where you skip the cemetery fight and get ambushed during the consulate raid. Remember to save!
