Getting JJ's gun? which route?

I recall it's some route called rescue the count for the true ending or something but is there another way?

The special route for getting light of hope but casino is open. JJ is in the casino which he will fight and be killed by you when you stand up for a japanese gambler...

Event is called Dice of Destiny.

However you won't get light of hope ending.

Light of hope route but with Casino open. Instead of going to Black Ship, you have to go to the Casino. You will see JJ here with his gun sometimes. Just reload if he doesnt have it.

Yes, what others said. Light of Hope with Casino and Hospital open. Go to Casino after taking Akagi to the hospital. Tell bodyguards to cut the crap, kill them and then you get to fight JJ. Save in the harbor before entering the casino. He might be using a sword instead of a gun, so reload if you want to get the gun (though if he has a sword he drops his unique sword style too).
