Didn't know you could buy hardmode boss drops :P I want a specific blade, not just store bought. Besides checking the buy menu is much slower then taking weapons apart.
You simply gather your weapons, save your game, take them apart. You check to see if it rolled what you wanted. if not then load your game again.
Actually when dual-wielding, charms only apply if both swords have the same charm. If you want triple Life&Death with triple Big Shot, you need one sword with 2x L&D and 1xBS and the other sword with 2xBS and 1xL&D.
This is really the best set up you can get in the game, makes harakiri very do-oable.
There's a chu-dan Forward+X move where you thrust with the hilt of the sword, it counts as a guard-break and does 90 dmg normally - 400 dmg on my sword, im killing guys on hard in 1-2 quick hits, feels like easy. Other moves in the stance hit for regular damage, but the increase to unstoppables/guard break moves is VERY noticable, esp in spring harvest
You could simply assemble and disassemble over and over, each time you disassemble them they have new charms.
Having them reforged takes way to much time. So just save your game, take apart, see if you have what you want, and if not you just reload the game. That's what I have been saying.
Have 10 weapons made from the parts you want to make your sword(s) from in your backpack, with a few "junk" parts to fill in the blanks.
Disassemble all the weapons in your backpack.
If any parts have the charms you want/need, put them aside. If not, reassemble.
Replace any charmed parts you like with the junk parts and continue. Once you have a blade, guard and grip with the right charms, extract one of your junk swords from your equipped slot and assemble the good sword to fill its place. If you need another, continue.
why waste your time reassmbling? for 10 weapons that can take 3-4 minutes. Why not save your game before you disassemble, then if you don't get what you want, reload. Reload only takes like 10 seconds.
