Is it better to emulate this game than playing the pc port?

I want to play this game, but i saw that the pc port is really bad and it crashes a lot, i have no patience for this kind of stuff, so, is it better to play this game on rpcs3?

Something has changed I used to be able to play this without issues but now it crashes and lags randomly

use dxvk trick and it (and wots3) will run pretty well.

I would love to play this more but the PC port is so buggy you can't immerse yourself fully, I mainly notice the audio bugs (being a game sound designer myself) and it's very frustrating!! It's pretty crazy how a AAA company can just dump a port on steam and not patch it :/ I'm going to look into emulating to be honest!

Yeah the audio bugs annoy tf out of me. Sometimes it works perfectly and other times music will stop playing, etc.

The only time I have ever had issues crashing is when I try to alt-tab out of the game to do something, other than that I have never had any issue.

The only crash issue is alt+tab out of the window and going back into the game. never had it crash from anything else

I've managed to completely eliminate alt-tab crashing by using Cheat Engine's "Pause the selected process" function. It sounds silly but it works incredibly well. Make sure to disable the steam overlay as well.

Regarding the PS3 version, it requires you to restart the game entirely (very cumbersome if emulating) every time you end a playthrough or want to return to the title screen.
I also couldn't find any pre-made cheats for it, so if you want to skip some grinding (or just cheat) that's also an angle to consider.
