And it does!
Now newer issues. Audio stops, and the game seems to run slow...
More in depth on that... Cutscenes work beautifully, but outside of cutscenes everything moves at a slower pace.
Returning to my newer PC in hopes I can get this to work, because it looks like a FANTASTIC game, and I really want to enjoy it.
Going to attempt what you first suggested.
Games installed, but still stating I don't MSVCR100.dll

Another suggestion I found is that you
"msvcr100.dll is a part of Microsoft Visual C++ and is required to run programs developed with Visual C++. Some games or applications may need the file in the game/application installation folder. Copying it from Windows systemfolder to the install-folder of the game/application should fix that problem."
Again it's not a problem we've encountered before, so it might be worth Googling the error yourself, to see if there is anything more applicable to you.
I do appreciate any and all advice and help coming from people with more experience on this sort of situation.
Fingers crossed that your solution is the one!
Your old rig has the problem of slowness because it's an old rig. Chances are it's too weak for the game, which might just be an assumption from you calling it old.
Also, try this and see if it works, even though I kind of doubt it will. Right click the game on your library, go to Properties, Local Files, then Verify Integrity of Game Files. What this does is install missing files. Some files aren't from the game itself though, like how when you first install a game it'll install other things like Net Framework. This file might come from one of those, so Verify Integrity might not work. It wouldn't hurt though
